Present Position 1 State Registered Paramedic, Qualified HEMS Paramedic.
Crewing all three of the Great North Air Ambulance helicopters, he works as part of a trauma team with other paramedics or doctors. 

 Position 2
He has been a member of the British Super Bike Medical Team since 2001, providing medical cover to the British Superbike, World Superbike and Moto GP motorcycle racing series.

Present Position 3 
2007 he was the first paramedic to be invited to sit on the Auto Cycle Union Medical Panel.
The Auto Cycle Union is the governing body for all motorcycle sports in Great Britain.

 May 2002 he provided medical cover for Her Majesty the Queen during her visit to the North East.

November 2003 he commanded a Special Operations Response Team covering U.S. President G.W. Bush.

Sept 2005 he was selected to provide medical cover for a meeting of  E.U. Interior Ministers in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and was the sole representative the of North East Ambulance Service within secure transportation convoy’s of  the Ministers.

Oct 2005 he provided medical cover for Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

He has also provided medical cover for other members of the Royal Family including The Duke of York, The Duke of Kent and The Princess Royal amongst others.
