Current position: I am a state registered paramedic working in East Central Division for the Scottish Ambulance Service. I report to A&E team leaders and am responsible for responding to emergency and urgent calls in the Forth Valley area of Scotland. I joined Essex Ambulance Service (now East of England Ambulance Service) in 1999, qualifying as a paramedic in 2002. I have since worked in London and Glasgow before taking up my current position in Forth Valley.

I regularly work at Knockhill race circuit predominantly at motorcycle meetings, my interest in motorsports also finds me working at motocross and speedway racing events across Scotland. I also am a regular instructor on PHTLS courses and for a variety of courses run by BASICS.

I am currently a medical student at the University of Dundee and am also working towards a diploma in immediate medical care which I hope to complete by 2009
