Present Position 1 - General Practitioner, Ladybank, Fife, Scotland
Neil has been a GP for 22 years. He is a partner in a four doctor semi-rural practice looking after 4600 patients.

Present Position 2 – Chief Medical Officer, Knockhill Racing Circuit, Fife, Scotland
Neil first became involved with motorsport medicine in 1987, becoming CMO at Knockhill in 1989. He heads a team of over thirty doctors, paramedics, and nurses at Scotland’s only permanent race circuit. He first brought PHTLS to Scotland in 2004, and Knockhill remains the only venue in the country approved to teach the courses. Neil work at motorsport events includes club meetings, British and World Superbikes, the British Touring Car Championship, and Formula 1.

Course coordinator for PHTLS Provider and Instructor Courses in Scotland.
Committee member on the PHTLS steering group at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
European Instructor of the American Geriatric Society, course coordinator of GEMS courses.
European Instructor of Paediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals, course coordinator of PEPP courses.
UK Instructor of Advanced Medical Life Support and course coordinator of AMLS courses.
European Instructor of CPR & AED, course coordinator of Basic & Advanced courses.
European Instructor of First Responder, course coordinator of First Responder courses.
